Draft Programmatic Agreement Available for Public Comment

The Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA) is updating its Programmatic Agreement in consultation with the South Carolina State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-related projects in Greenville County and participating cities. The GCRA has determined that undertakings funded by HUD programs include certain types of routine activities that do not have the potential to cause effects on historic properties and should be exempt from review to streamline the Section 106 process. A copy of the draft Programmatic Agreement is available for public review and comment starting January 10, 2020 and ending January 27, 2020. Also please note: GCRA is closed from 12:00 to 1:30 on Mondays through Thursdays.
