
Greenville County Notice of Funding Availability – FY 2021 HOME and Affordable Housing Fund Application
The Greenville County Redevelopment Authority (GCRA) announces the availability of funding applications for FY 2021 Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Affordable Housing Fund from Greenville County Administration. The GCRA is interested in financing projects that increase the production and availability of decent, safe, sanitary housing and promotes housing affordability to low, moderate, and middle (workforce) income households in Greenville County, outside the City limits of Greenville. Projects in the Spartanburg County within City limits of Greer, and Laurens County within City limits of Fountain Inn are also eligible. Eligible non-profit and for-profit housing developers and providers are encouraged to apply. Applications are available on the Grants & Loans/Developers portion of the GCRA website.
The application deadline is Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. One hard copy and one full electronic copy with all required attachments (via OneDrive) must be submitted to the GCRA office, located at 301 University Ridge, Suite 2500, Greenville, SC 29601, Attention: Imma Nwobodu, Program Director. An application training session for the HOME and Affordable Housing Fund (AHF) is scheduled for Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM via Zoom. Applicants interested in attending the training should request Zoom access by contacting José Reynoso at jreynoso@gcra-sc.org. New applicants are strongly recommended to attend the training.
Responses received after the deadline will NOT be considered regardless of the postmarked date. All applicants must use the FY 2021 application forms.
