Greenville News article — Billion-dollar redevelopment at Union Bleachery in Greenville to break ground soon

The Greenville News has published an article about what will be the largest redevelopment site in Greenville County.

County Council Chairman Willis Meadows, whose district includes the site, has said that the mill property’s redevelopment could “transform that area of the county.”

Florida-based developer Dean Warhaft said, “That’s part of what makes sites like this so interesting and special.  If you can take something that is truly a burden on everybody and turn it into something positive — and at the same time, the way that you’re doing it is not in a way that harms others — then I think that you’ve done something really special and great.”
