Rental
GCRA’s rental inventory is available for qualified applicants. New and renovated two, three, and four-bedroom units may be available throughout Greenville County, including the municipalities of Fountain Inn, Greer, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and Travelers Rest.
Guidelines
In order to qualify for GCRA’s rental units, you must have:
- Established credit;
- Good rental history over the past 12 months;
- Stable income: Gross monthly income is used to calculate the maximum rent payment that applicants can afford. GCRA staff will help applicants with these calculations;
- Good employment history.
A SLED background check will be used to verify eligibility.

Income Qualifications
GCRA’s rental inventory is governed by US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) rental guidelines. Based on these guidelines, GCRA is able to rent to households of varying income levels. Rental amounts are determined by your particular financial situation.
