Upstate Business Journal article — For the first time in a half-century, City View is seeing new construction

The Upstate Business Journal has published an article about a new project by the Greenville Revitalization Corporation (GRC) called City View Corners, a two-story mixed used building with 11 affordable apartments which will be managed by the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority.

“City View Corners is designed to reflect the area’s rich textile manufacturing heritage, according to GRC CEO Doug Dent.  ‘[The project] is going to be transformational for that part of the county,’ Dent says.”

“’The aim for this project is to not only be a catalyst for the revitalization of the textile crescent but to bring back services to this area,’ Rakan Draz, with Avison Young, the real estate firm that will be handling commercial leasing, says. ‘We want to make sure we have the right services for what the area needs.’”
