The Post and Courier article — Greenville wants sister cities to help fund affordable housing, transit. Will they?

The Post and Courier (Greenville) has published an article about a discussion among the City of Greenville and other Greenville County municipalities regarding how best to shoulder the burden of tackling the issues of affordable housing and transportation.

“…Problems of affordable housing or public transportation might be more noticeable or more acute in the city of Greenville, but the city is mostly developed and doesn’t face the same issues of massive sprawl that has eaten up green places across Greenville County.

In a recent meeting of the minds to chart Greenville’s priorities in the coming year, city officials said they see these issues as needing wider solutions and indicated they want to work across city lines amid rapid population growth…”
